Compensation:
$22.00 – $28.00 per hour (starting at $22)
raises based on time with the company and performance

Location:
Bellevue – with occasional support at our other studio locations
Availability:
Availability on Fridays and Saturdays is required
About Us
24hr Pottery is a growing network of ceramic studios with five locations across the Greater Seattle area. We offer 24/7 studio access to adult members and provide a variety of workshops for beginner to intermediate potters.
We’re a small, passionate team committed to clay, community, and keeping our studios clean, welcoming, and inspiring.
Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Ceramic Instructors to join our Eastside team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled potter who loves teaching and wants to be part of a growing creative community.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach wheel throwing and/or hand-building techniques
- Adapt instruction to support students at all experience levels
- Process and assist with firing student work (training provided)
- Follow existing lesson plans and contribute to improving workshop content
- Build positive relationships with students and fellow staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive studio environment
- Assist with customer support and general studio operations as needed
- Occasionally support workshops or duties at other studio locations
Qualifications
- Proficiency in wheel throwing and/or hand-building techniques
- Previous teaching experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a self-starter and team player
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Must pass a background check
- Flexible availability to cover shifts as needed
Training Provided
- New team members will shadow current staff for 1–2 weeks before leading workshops independently
- Kiln operation and studio process training included
