Social Media Manager & CoordinatorOverview
We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager & Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in managing and growing our brand’s online presence across all social media platforms. The ideal candidate is skilled in digital storytelling, understands social media algorithms, and can create visually compelling content that engages and converts audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and growth across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and emerging platforms).
- Content Creation & Design: Create, design, and schedule high-quality social media content, including graphics, short-form videos, and written posts, ensuring consistency with brand aesthetics.
- Community Engagement: Monitor, respond, and interact with followers, comments, and messages to build a loyal online community.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking: Utilize social media analytics tools (Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.) to track performance, optimize content, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Graphic Design & Branding: Design on-brand graphics, templates, and marketing materials using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
- Content Planning & Coordination: Work closely with the marketing team to align content with campaigns, promotions, and business goals.
- Trend Research & Adaptation: Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and competitive.
- Video & Photography: Capture, edit, and enhance photos and videos for high-quality social media content. Strong candidates will have experience in filming, color grading, and video editing for a polished and professional look.
- SEO & Hashtag Strategy: Implement SEO techniques and hashtag strategies to maximize reach and discoverability.
- Influencer & Partnership Management: Build relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify brand messaging.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Expertise in managing multiple social media platforms and understanding their unique algorithms.
- Strong skills in graphic design, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom) or Canva.
- Ability to film, edit, and color-grade high-quality photos and videos is a major plus.
- Experience with social media analytics and scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.).
- Knowledge of branding, storytelling, and content strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Strong research skills to stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure brand consistency and professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in influencer marketing and PR.
- Basic knowledge of paid social media advertising.
- Photography experience for in-house content creation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
