Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to support our marketing and business development efforts. This role will focus on capturing and editing high-quality photos and videos at job sites, creating engaging social media content, and scheduling posts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for visual storytelling, understands social media trends, and can help organize a content calendar to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Capture professional-quality photos and videos at job sites to showcase projects, team efforts, and company expertise.
- Drone Photography & Videography: Operate a drone to capture aerial footage of projects.
- Photo & Video Editing: Edit photos and videos to ensure high-quality visuals.
- Video Production: Create engaging Reels, time-lapse videos, and behind-the-scenes content optimized for social media.
- Social Media Scheduling: Draft and schedule posts using Smarter Queue or similar tools for automated publishing.
- Content Calendar Development: Assist in planning and organizing a monthly content calendar to maintain consistent posting and engagement.
- Caption & Copywriting Assistance: Draft clear, professional, and engaging captions that align with the company’s brand and messaging.
- Drone Photography & Videography (Optional): Operate a drone to capture aerial footage of projects.
- Basic Graphic Design (Optional): Use tools like Canva or Adobe Express for minor content enhancements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Business Development and other team members to align content with marketing goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to capture compelling visual content.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while staying aligned with company branding.
- Experience in photo and video content creation, especially for social media.
- Strong understanding of short-form video trends (Reels, TikTok-style videos, etc.).
- Knowledge of content scheduling (Smarter Queue or similar tools).
- Knowledge of photo editing (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar).
- Experience in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
- FAA Part 107 Drone License is preferred.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time, flexible schedule (approximately 10-20 hours per week).
- Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour, depending on experience.
- In-office role with job site visits as needed.
