We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to support commercial and industrial design-build projects from conceptual design through construction. This role requires a degreed engineer with 5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software. The ideal candidate will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop structural designs that meet project requirements while ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and analyze structural systems for commercial and industrial buildings, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Develop and review structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Perform load calculations, stress analysis, and material selection for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to integrate structural components into overall building designs.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and ensure construction compliance with design documents.
- Assist in value engineering and constructability reviews to optimize design solutions and project costs.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, technical documents, and construction submittals.
- Stay up to date with building codes, zoning regulations, and structural engineering best practices.
