Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health care or may have some experience in the field.
This is a full time, Monday-Friday position.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, adjusting as needed based on client feedback.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Engage in patient monitoring to track progress and adapt care strategies as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health care or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring techniques is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and families.
- Background in nursing or social work is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be able to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
