Surveying Technician

3 Rocks Engineering and Surveying is a leading firm in the field of land surveying and engineering, committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients. Our team is dedicated to excellence, innovation, and professional growth. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in preparing proposals, lining out field crews, interacting with clients, and independently completing research. You will ensure accurate data collection, maintain high standards of precision and efficiency, and uphold our commitment to excellence.

LOCATION:

• Cañon City, CO
• Buena Vista, CO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversight, delegation of tasks, and technical support of field crews
• Oversight, delegation of tasks and technical support of office staff.
• Ensure Staff follow 3 Rocks procedural guidelines
• Quality control of data.
• Client communication (internal and external)
• Research and prep jobs
• Project proposal preparation

GOTTA HAVE IT:

• Minimum of five (5) years of Land Surveying experience (including education in surveying field) as a Party Chief and/or Survey Office Technician, preferably both.
• Land Survey Intern (LSI).
• Competent at using modern survey field equipment
• Ability to supervise and mentor other staff
• Experience drafting with CAD, preferably using Civil 3D.
• Minimum of one (1) year of survey project management experience

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• $30.00 To $45.00 Hourly, Compensation will be dependent upon experience
