Ability Camp Coordinator
Quakertown, PA | Part Time, Seasonal, Hourly | $15 - $19 per hour

What is needed for this job as our Ability Camp Coordinator:
- 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of working with children and/or teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Available to work weekday camp hours, including mornings and evenings
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Ability Camp Coordinator:
- Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding updates to programs and activities
- Provide feedback to staff, participants and parents/guardians on individual performance
- Communicate schedules and events to part time instructors and staff
- Ensure that confidentiality is maintained when working with participants or participant information
- Provide instructional support and age appropriate progressive skill development in the program
- Evaluate camper's success toward goals using appropriate assessment tool
- Program development for teen and young adult camp programming
- Assist with appropriate extended care shift
- Develop and execute staff training for all camp staff, along with attending staff required trainings
- Support morning drop off, mid day transition, and afternoon pick up daily as needed
- Create break schedule and provide breaks for staff as needed
- Assist camp staff and campers during crisis situations as needed
- Assist Camp Site Director with administrative tasks (scheduling, emails, medications, incident reports, rosters and emergency contact sheets, among other tasks) as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
