What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Assistant position at 300 Clayton Properties Group Inc.?

The Escrow Assistant is responsible for:
- Ability to perform all tasks of the Escrow Assistant
- Prepare and send opening letters and “thankyou” acknowledgments to all parties
- Order title commitments and distribute to all parties
- Order and update payoff/assumption statements as requested
- Prepare receipts for all funds received from customers and/or lenders
- Order wire transfers and provide wiring instructions
- Prepare loan packages for return to lender
- Assist Escrow Officer with final policy disbursement, etc., as directed
- Cancel files according to office procedure
- Customer Service - answer and appropriately route calls, emails, and other communications from lenders, buyers, attorneys, realtors, insurance companies, and others as necessary
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and work proficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn new software, as needed
