Job Overview

Duties

- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail in presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to culinary standards.
- Assist with training new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of menu items and service protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude towards guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
