Job Description Summary:
Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance activities on Production equipment to ensure ResMed products meet customer expectations for performance, quality, supply, cost and reliability.
Let's talk about Responsibilities:
Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance activities for Production equipment including but not limited to Dosing Units, Moulding machines, Vacuum pumps, Ovens, Barrels, Static Mixers, and End of Arm Tools (EOATs).
Document/record all maintenance activities as required for Production equipment.
Comply with all standard maintenance and operating procedures, GMP, 5s and Health & Safety policies.
Promote a safe working environment by following Health and Safety guidelines as well as implementing & closing out actions for the continual improvement of work place safety.
Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities to change or adapt existing maintenance methods and/or schedules so as to be more efficient.
Provide support to other departments to ensure that new projects/equipment are delivered, installed and maintained on time and to the highest standard.
Perform other tasks as required.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience:
Strong hands-on skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulic, Pneumatic devices and systems and ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings.
Experience in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment.
Good communication skills (written & verbal), adaptable to change and ability to build strong working relationships.
Good understanding of computer systems (MS Office, Oracle).
Ability to work in a fast moving and demanding team environment.
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
Proactively self-manage and complete work to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
Required:
2 years’ experience performing maintenance activities on equipment.
Degree or relevant trade certificate (e.g. electrical, mechanical).
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility within the medical device industry.
