Position Summary
An Event Coordination Internship with 313 Presents offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience behind the scenes of the entertainment industry. Interns will work at top-tier, award-winning live entertainment venues, learning firsthand what it takes to execute successful events. Throughout the summer season, interns will collaborate across departments, gaining a comprehensive understanding of event planning, logistics, and operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This internship provides invaluable industry exposure and a chance to be part of the team that brings unforgettable live experiences to life.
What You’ll Do
- Work with Event Production team on pre-concert advance and assist with back-of-house logistics day of show
- Manage VIP packages/meet & greets for artists when needed
- Additional preparation for events/concerts including contacting, finding and organizing vendors
- Experience other departments including front-of-house operations, Sponsorship & Premium Sales
What We’re Looking For
- Previous employment in event coordination, event management, hospitality, stage management or customer service
- Experience in working at sports or entertainment venues
- Self-starters, go-getters and motivated individuals who are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Open Availability - hours will vary each week based on the concert and event schedule
- Commit to the full summer concert season (mid-May through end of August or September)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be highly organized, able to exercise professionalism and good judgment
- Applicants must be enrolled in college courses or recent graduates to be considered
Work Environment & Expectations
- Must be willing to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Applicants must have a reliable personal vehicle to get to all 313 Presents venues
- Job may require spending an extended period outdoors in various conditions, lifting and transporting items up to 50 lbs. and multiple hours on your feet
- Must be flexible and willing to take on different responsibilities on a show-by-show basis
