ABOUT US

CanaryAI is an Atlanta start up. We are profitable and growing. Our two subsidiaries are 321 Forms and HR Screening Services. We are a small team dedicated to our customers and innovation in our products. Our offices are in Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Salt Lake City. We have 1600 customers. Our next generation product uses AI to help employers maximize the tax credits they can receive. This is an early stage opportunity and most suitable for people comfortable working in a start up environment.

COMPENSATION

We invest in our people and are looking for team members who want to help us grow and be rewarded for that growth. The base salary for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 per year with up to 20% bonus. Salary is reviewed after six months. As you take on more responsibility, compensation will increase. Since this is an early stage company, your potential for career and income growth is substantial, but to be transparent it is not like working at a huge corporation. Here initial salaries are lower but upside is higher. You also get the chance to make an impact as opposed to being a cog in the wheel.

We would prefer you to be close to our office and will provide financial assistance to move to an apartment nearby our offices which are on the Atlanta beltline. We are staffing up our new Atlanta office, and ideally all of our Atlanta employees could walk, scooter or bike to the office. All employees get 18 days of PTO. We also have company paid medical, dental and vision benefits.

THE TYPE OF PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Because we are a start up, you don't need to have years of experience to make it. We hire for aptitude which is defined as the natural ability to learn and perform a job well. You need the basic skills to do the day to day work, see below, but more importantly you need these personality characteristics :

  • Creative - There are lots of ways to solve a problem. In a start up we haven't figured everything out so you'll need to think on your own and offer solutions. If you want a defined list of what to do and how to do it, we're not a good fit, but if you like having the freedom to get things done your way, hopefully in a way which can be repeated by others, then this is a great environment for you.
  • Intellectually curious - You have to like learning new things and not be intimidated by something just because you haven't done it before. The team is here to help you. If you're more comfortable working in a highly defined role, a bigger company is better for you. If you like new challenges, then we want to hear from you.
  • Energetic - our people show enthusiasm for their customers and our products. Positivity is infectious. It makes customers feel good about working with us, and it makes the workplace better for everyone.
  • Tough - start ups are hard. There are highs and lows. You will likely fail at things, get frustrated, and feel rejected. The most important thing is you keep moving forward. If you don't handle adversity well, a start up might not be the right place for you. If you're the kind of person that can stay focused through challenging times and also looks at mistakes as an opportunity to improve yourself, then you are start-up material.

BASIC JOB DUTIES

The specific things you will be expected to do :

  • Make interesting presentations using Powerpoint, Canva and similar tools to support our marketing, sales and product teams.
  • Create product videos using ClipChamp or similar tools to highlight product features to customers.
  • Create automated email campaigns for distribution through Hubspot.
  • Assist in creating blog posts and other content pieces for publication on LinkedIn, our website and other channels.
  • Create or manage the creation of customer testimonial videos for posting on our website and inclusion in sales material.
  • Update and keep current our company LinkedIn profile.
  • Future) Manage our SEO and Pay Per Click ad campaigns.
  • Future) Social media campaigns targeted at end customer employees.
  • Assist with creating thought leadership pieces in the area of community development through tax credit policy.
  • Assist with creating and managing webinars and podcasts for our partners and customers.

    Graphic design

    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Graphic Design
