What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at 35 BISTRO WINE BAR?
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
