The Position:
In support of the Sales & Engineering Teams, the Applications Technician will be responsible for:
- Evaluating and documenting new Ultrasonic liquid processing applications
- Collaborating with clients or internal teams to determine specific process requirements
- Designing and executing experiments to test the effects of ultrasonic energy
- Participating in the development of new ultrasonic technologies or methodologies
- Collaborating with engineers and scientists to improve existing products or create new ones
- Providing technical support to resolve customer inquiries or issues
- Training customers or colleagues on the proper use and maintenance of sonication equipment
About You:
- A Technical degree (AS, BS) in Engineering or Life sciences with an emphasis on laboratory work
- Technical acumen and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Strong computer-based knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in the use of different types of instrumentation
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to collaborate on multiple projects with small technical teams and other departments
- Strong customer centric focus and a driven work ethic to solve problems
