Title: Program Manager 4
Duration: 8-12 months (contract)
Location: 90 W. Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215 (Onsite Position)
Summary:
The City of Columbus, Department of Technology, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to assist with the rollout of a citywide strategic roadmap initiative led by the Mayor’s Office. This initiative follows a waterfall schedule, integrated with two-week sprints for multiple workgroups, and is managed using Smartsheet.
- Lead program and project planning efforts in collaboration with the core team.
- Facilitate meetings and support workgroups to maintain initiative momentum.
- Oversee sprint planning and organizational change management.
- Work closely with the project coordinator on schedule management, sprint cycles, risk/issues tracking, and initiative leadership support.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Assist in strategic roadmap planning and portfolio management.
- 4 years of experience in schedule management, risk & issue management, and change management based on PMBOK principles.
- 2 years of experience managing sprints.
- 2 years of experience managing programs with heavy organizational change management.
- 2 years of experience in portfolio management.
- Strong executive-level communication skills (written & verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WebEx, and Teams.
- Smartsheet experience (Dashboards, Reports, Sheets, Intake Forms).
- Strategic planning experience.
- PMI-PMP certification.
- Scrum Master certification.
