Wellness Coordinator

360 Wellness is looking to add a Wellness Coordinator to our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in working while trying to boost their graduate school resume, has an interest in therapy, wellness, and exercise, or someone who has a genuine passion for helping others. Candidate will assist in patient care under the supervision of a clinician (Physical and/or Occupational Therapist) to help deliver high quality patient care. Candidate will maintain a clean treatment area and equipment and participate in operational aspects. Candidate will maintain inventory of clinic space and will perform some administrative tasks such as clerical duties, customer service, and assisting with scheduling. Candidate will travel between a few Senior Living Facilities (Independent, Assisted Living), must be able to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

- Assist physical therapists and occupational therapists with patient assessments and treatment plans.

- Aid in implementing therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities as directed.

- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation sessions.

- Help patients with mobility and transfers as needed.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies.

- Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.

Coordinate and facilitate group wellness activities, such as fitness classes or workshops

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Rehab experience preferred.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion and empathy when working with patients facing physical challenges.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and equipment.
• Organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
