The Warehouse Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of 3cBSI’s warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient ordering, receiving, distribution and inventory management. This role involves managing data entry, scheduling deliveries & pickups, and providing excellent communication while collaborating with estimators, project managers, lead & techs in supporting a variety of projects. With a focus on maintaining accurate inventory counts, delivery times and anticipating what is needed for each project. Fostering a safe, organized workspace, the Warehouse Control Specialist plays a crucial role in upholding process management, compliance, efficiency and supporting the team in the field. Bringing a collaborative, end goal and forward-thinking approach to each day’s tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal & written skills in addition to applying proven techniques while looking for continuous improvements.
Essential Functions
Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee distribution, receiving, and warehouse maintenance, ensuring processes run smoothly and meet company standards.
- Perform data entry, scheduling of deliveries, creating PO’s and following thru to receipt. Ensure accurate, updated and accessible information in the inventory system.
- Regularly conduct cycle counts to maintain minimum of in stock items.
- Communicate expectations, delays, and progress of items & stock to Operations Manager, estimators and project manager.
- Oversee & follow through PO’s receiving items, maintaining equipment & work in at time a very fast paced environment.
- Verification of Receipt of Materials from Material Lists & returns from techs back to warehouse.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word & Outlook.
- Attention to details- paying attention to detail is critical to this position.
Company Support:
- Collaborate with team members to support business growth, & warehouse upcoming needs, this includes projects, equipment, tools, materials & programs.
- Work with warehouse colleagues to coordinate incoming shipments and plan for efficient use of resources.
- Manage maintenance and inspection schedules for warehouse equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
- Active Listening- Must be able to give full attention to what techs, PM’s, Estimators, Vendors and others are saying and then acting on the direction being given.
- Must have a positive attitude towards work, coworkers & when dealing with others.
Team Support:
- Attend Warehouse Coordination & Operations meetings with a focus on upcoming projects, inventory status, shortfalls and needs. Helping to create a positive and collaborative work environment. While limiting and mitigating risks and shortfalls.

Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Must have a clean driving record and a current drivers license
- 10 years in warehouse operations.
- 5 years in warehouse safety, plus experience with inventory
- 5 years in inventory management
- Intermediate computer experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Able to work effectively while under pressure.
- Forklift certified.
- OSHA 10 (Preferred)
- Maintain regular and on-time attendance.
- Be able to do light maintenance duties around the office.
- Be mechanically inclined to assist in building racks.
- Actively involved with vendors and contractors. Communication is key to keeping these relationships positive.
- Delivery of equipment and materials to job site.
- Maintains physical conditions of warehouse by maintaining established design layouts, inspection of equipment and performing or ordering repairs as needed.
- Keeps warehouse clean and accessible.
- Efficiently follows directions from the Estimators. Able to meet daily production targets.
- Inspect received goods, making note of any damages and discrepancies, and immediately report the same.
- Maintain the proper labeling, tagging, storage, and packaging of materials.
- Safely operate a variety of hand tools and machinery.
- Maintain professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external contacts, including company employees, and outside vendors.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Able to sit and work at computer keyboard for extended period.
- Able to stand for long periods and endure a lot of physical stamina.
- Able to lift, push, pull and move 50-100 pounds.
- Able to climb stairs, ladders & work at heights.
- Maintain regular and on-time attendance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
