What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Designer position at 3D Design Group / Grasshopper Gardens?
Plan and design land areas for parks, recreational facilities, private homes, campuses, and other open spaces. The job also entails:
- Meeting with customers.
- Prepare site plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures
- Working with CADD software
- Select appropriate materials for use in landscape designs
- Analyze environmental reports on land conditions
- Inspect landscape work to ensure that it adheres to original plans
- Seek new work through marketing or by giving presentations
Also needed for this job are strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as visualization, creativity and customer service capability.
Must be reliable, organized, efficient, and have a positive attitude.
