Jr. Engineering Technician

We are looking for a Jr. Engineering Technician to help keep up with our company growth needs. The position will support the day-to-day engineering team in both a hardware end software based technology environment. You should be focused, hard-working, and able to meet deadlines.

The Jr. Engineering Technician will work alongside the team to help us build out and fulfill our ongoing product needs.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware and software
• Assist engineering and production team in creating, testing, and modifying products
• Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas for improvement
• Conduct tests and collect data related to hardware systems and document test results
• Create prototypes of systems
• Operate and maintain test equipment
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Repair and replace damaged hardware

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in engineering technology or similar, Bachelors preferred
• Experience with Linux a plus
• Familiarity with lab test equipment including DMMs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Capable of working independently
• Technical writing skills a plus
