The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service and sales support while actively generating new business opportunities. This role requires strong product knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to enhance orders to meet customer needs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver exceptional customer service primarily via phone and online communication
- Accurately process and manage customer orders in compliance with sales policies and procedures
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Achieve established monthly sales goals
- Collaborate with the outside sales team and internal departments on relevant activities
- Propose and communicate process improvement ideas
- Ensure timely follow-up on customer orders, quotes, and materials
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services
