Summary:
Fabricates resin and other materials, and the operation of a variety of machines to
manufacture parts for the lighting and design industry. Able to answer any questions about any detail of the fabrication process and can correctly execute all details of the fabrication process. Will communicate directly with project managers on custom projects to help navigate customers' needs. Candidates must be personable.
Able to layout, build, assemble, and lead technical projects. This includes heat forming, line bending, cutting from templates, product lay-up, oven laminating, mold building, mitering, machining, seaming, edge sanding, sealing, and polishing.
Analyzes and resolves work problems.
Reworks products that fail to meet quality standards.
Travel is required within the United States 3-4 times per year, including the following:
Record keeping of all travel expenses – including bank card.
Reworks products which fail to meet quality standards.
Troubleshooting job site problems.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group sittings to customers & team members.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of windows software.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Frequently.

up to 10 hours.
Must be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipment, which includes
frequently climbing ladders, bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, kneeling, and
reaching.
Must be able to see / hear to visually and audibly acknowledge critical safety instructions,
alarms, forklift traffic, perform quality inspections, and equipment inspections.
Must be able to sustain repetitive movement of the upper and lower extremities with varying
degrees of force.
Must be able to push, pull up to 100 pounds of force on a regular basis, including moving
pallets, carts, glass/plastic sheets, and boxes using a hand truck or other similar equipment.
