Role Overview:
As Regulatory Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in our compliance team. This is a unique opportunity for a growth-oriented professional to make a significant impact at an industry leading company with a proven history providing licensing and compliance software & services for clients for more than 20 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage compliance team of four
- Report directly to VP Associate General Counsel
- Onboard and/or coordinate the onboarding of new clients.
- Conduct client-needs discovery meetings, provide license portfolio reviews, and generate quotes for services and products.
- Respond to client inquiries and concerns and manage client requests.
- Communicate with state regulators, carriers, and vendors to research and resolve licensing and compliance issues.
- Research, review, and consult on state statutes and regulations.
- Communicate new or amended regulations to clients and establish internal procedures for new licensing compliance requirements.
- Assist with hiring new employees.
- Train and supervise the licensing team.
- Provide guidance and support regarding licensing for other internal teams.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience:
- 3 years of managing employees; and
- 5 years as a practicing attorney.
- Ability to work onsite on a hybrid basis from our Saratoga Springs, NY office.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- JD required
Compensation:
- Base Salary: Negotiable
