Bookkeeper/Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Online QuickBooks-Trained Accountant/Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in QuickBooks Online, a solid foundation in accounting principles, and a keen understanding of various financial aspects including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, taxes, insurance, deductions, and garnishments. The role also requires familiarity with multi-state sales tax and a comprehensive understanding of inventory-based accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Handle payroll responsibilities, including payroll taxes, insurance, deductions, and garnishments
• Navigate multi-state sales tax regulations with precision
• Implement and maintain inventory-based accounting practices
• Ensure accurate data entry with meticulous attention to detail
• Collaborate with another bookkeeper to maintain office presence during business hours

Requirements:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential
• Accounting training or extensive practical experience in accounting
• Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate data entry
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
