Description:
8 Years of experience as a Database Administrator with Oracle, PL/SQL
- 1 year s experience with Oracle 19c Multi-Tenant Architecture and database infrastructure design on RAC Databases.
- Experience Red Hat Linux & Oracle Linux Operating Systems.
- Experience in following processes and procedures to standardize Database installations and configuration.
- Experience automating, scripting, and streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy utilizing Unix shell scripting or other scripting tools.
- Broad experience in the art of performance tuning, utilizing OEM or third-party tools to finely tune objects and queries in Oracle 19c.
- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle backup methodologies
- Experience with setup and scheduling of RMAN backups as well as successful database restores.
- Monitor alert logs, OEM and system alerts, acting on the results.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours Production support.
- Proficiency in Linux, Unix, Java, and DBA
- Understanding of production environments, technical support, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
- Experience with Oracle Exadata
- Experience working in UNIX operating system
- Ability to write simple to complex Linux/Unix shell scripts and Perl scripts
- Strong knowledge in Unix/Linux System administration,
- Ability to work independently and to resolve complex Oracle issues
- Experience with data pump and working knowledge to use expdp and impdp.
- Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to data infrastructure
- Ability to write, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures,
- Functions, Packages and Database Triggers
- Ability to Tune Oracle SQL and PL/SQL performance
- Experience in logical database design and data models
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle process
- Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Knowledge of data privacy and protection initiatives
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred KSA s:
- Excellent working skills with Oracle Exadata
- 3 years' experience with SQL performance tuning and database architecture.
- Experience in converting non CDB databases to CDB
- Experience in working with Informatica
