This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.). - Calling on executive level personnel to develop industry relationships in order to create contracts and positions for 3M’s products
- Determining the success of the key account programs and playbook
- Supporting the sales team assigned to them
- Manages MDF budget and initiates and approves projects to continuously improve efficiency and competitiveness.
- Interprets industry trends, customer requirements, and business objectives to define guidelines/methods to achieve sales and profit targets.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience with ownership of a channel partner or key account responsibility in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, and/or Sales field
- Experience working with digital marketing tactics and e-commerce.
- Current AAD employee
- Experience in calling on national key accounts
- Knowledge of how to work with the customer and dealer centric tools
- Demonstrated experience of effective negotiation skills and strategic planning
- Willingness to be on call
- Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)
