- Provide engineering support to our maintenance and operation teams within respective departments for continuous chemical coating applications and foam making to a final product.
- The process engineer is responsible for ensuring that all processes comply with regulatory requirements and standards.
- Implement methods and approaches such as Lean, Six Sigma and other to optimize manufacturing processes.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of process engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of process design and optimization in a private, public, government or military environment
- Ability to document processes, creating standard operating procedures, product/process standards, work instructions.
- Utilization of data analysis software for troubleshooting processes.
- Good communication skills, adaptability, analytical and problem-solving abilities
