About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Process Engineer with experience in electronics and a strong understanding of IPC standards and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, develop, and coordinate manufacturing process instructions.
- Confer with production planning and product design staff concerning product design, tooling, and workforce training.
- Work with design engineers to ensure design for manufacturing (DFM) elements are incorporated into production releases.
- Lead operations groups for new product introductions to assure smooth transitions to production.
- Design and evaluate new existing layouts, product flow, fixtures, and equipment, test methods, and standards supporting a LEAN manufacturing environment.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
- Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layouts of equipment workspace for maximum efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with ISO-9000.
- Five plus years of experience as an Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineer.
- Experience working with a government-regulated agency, a plus.
- Proficient computer skills, such as spreadsheets, word editors, databases, and CAD.
- Ability to create and comprehend blueprint drawings.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
