The Impact Youll Make in this Role
As a Specialist Product Development, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :
- Assuming technical leadership on NPI and NTI initiatives
- Developing and designing cable accessories for Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) applications.
- Designing and launching new products from prototype development over feasibility demonstration to commercial scale-up.
- Interfacing with cross-functional team members (marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, technical service, quality, regulatory, etc) to ensure successful program delivery.
- Generating intellectual property positions, including invention submissions, patents and 3M trade secrets.
- Leading technical interactions with corporate, group and division labs to identify new technologies, processes and materials to be applied to the Energy Markets
- Developing and commercializing products to efficiently, reliably and sustainably deliver energy to customers around the world.

Applicable to US Applicants Only : The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidates relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and / or experience.
