Responsibility Details :
Market Analysis & Product Research :
Research and identify new product ideas and design concepts.Define product specifications & requirements.Gather product and customer insights.Conduct product benchmarking and analyze data for new product concepts.Stay updated with industry trends in consumer packaged goods and mobile electronics.Conduct market research to track trends and maintain a prioritized list of customer and market requirements.Coordinating the New Product Development Process :
Develop, track, and manage new product project plans, budgets, and timelines.Create structured project workflows, including timelines, tasks, and team responsibilities.Facilitate inter-department communication and planning meetings.Work with division leads to allocate resources and ensure project objectives are met on schedule.Develop and track KPIs to improve the product launch process.Continuous Improvement of Product Quality & Project Efficiency :
Identify and implement product quality improvements.Conduct use-case and long-term product tests.Gather feedback, track product success, and provide actionable insights.Coordinate with manufacturing partners to implement enhancements.Product Testing & Analysis :
Establish product KPIs to measure success criteria.Provide regular reports on product testing results and performance.Continuously improve product development and project management workflows.Qualifications (Must-Have) :
Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry and physical product development.Proven ability to conduct market research and analysis.Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple timelines and tasks.General understanding of the product development lifecycle from concept to production.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project planning tools.Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on what really matters.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.High attention to detail and ability to prioritize efficiently.Must like tacos. (Non-negotiable.)Preferred Qualifications :
Interest in cell phone cases and mobile accessories.Experience with overseas manufacturing.Experience working in small to mid-sized businesses.3-5 years of project management experience in a fast-growing environment.2 years in CPG product development and / or project management.Familiarity with 3D solid modeling software (SolidWorks) is a plus.Why Join Smartish?
