The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Activation Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role for leading execution of activation plan for the key segment markets and portfolios for the Personal Safety Division. In this role you will be able to lead the execution of portfolio activation plans in USAC, identify Business trends, Growing Opportunities. Lead the implementation and execution in the country of the portfolio or segment strategy collaborating with the product marketers, segment marketers, channel structure and Application engineers. The Activation Marketer drives and leads complex relationships at all levels and across the organization (portfolio marketers, digital resource center, global marketers, sourcing, agencies, channel, sales, etc.) and support capitalization of sales with the sales structure.
As a(n) PSD Activation Marketer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :
- Manages sales and POS data in order detect market opportunities and develop push and pull strategies to increase sales and share of wallet of FULL PSD portfolio within specific segments.
- Create content and sales tools to facilitate market´s understanding
- Drives Customer First strategies, to align and adapt programs to fulfill the needs of customers in specific segments.
- Work with Channel Specialist from PSD and General Industry, so they and the reps from their Business Partners receive 3M segments training, for them to be able to detect multiple business opportunities with big 3M portfolio to increase sales. Needs to coordinate regional 3M support to give these trainings.
- Supports the definition of the product offer and executes promotion.
- Collaborates with forecast insights by analyzing customers consumption of products and win / loss of projects.
- Must develop strong internal 3M networking in order to handle inside negotiations and problems resolutions with functional areas like Finance, Marketing, CRC, Demand, BSO, sourcing, sales, and any other areas involved in the day-to-day work. Understanding of end users and distributor's structure and the way that it operates is also a must.
- The candidate must be expert in viewing the big picture of the business, and can detect the pain points, with this information he has the ability to structure process to eliminate issues
- Able to lead, coordinate and guide others, considering he / she will have an important influence with others.
