Job Tittle: Assembly Line Worker
Duration: 9 months (may extend depending on need and performance)
Location: Windfall IN 46076
Shift Times: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm (40hr/week)
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, bending, kneeling, stooping, walk and sit for long period of time.
- Looking for someone with filed or harvest experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of routine tasks of field research operations related to planting, thinning, weeding, pollinations and sample harvest.
- Sample processing operations include preparation of supplies, sorting, scanning, weighing, preparation for shipping and seed packaging.
- General facility operations include general clean-up, organization of samples and supplies, and other routine tasks as they arise.
- Day to day: placing wooden garden stakes in the fields
- Pulling samples from wheat fields & loading them into bags
- Pull weeds in field
- Plant sampling (cut leaves & ears and place into bin to take samples)
- Cross pollinations.
- Take inventory, computer work: scanning bar codes
- Tasks can change day to day and be fast paced.
