Job Title: Material Handler
Work Location: DeLand, FL
Work Schedule: (8 Hrs./day) |7:30am to 4:00pm| |Weekly Hours(40)|
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in material handling, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using ERP systems (Oracle or similar), including transaction processing and inventory management.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and inventory management.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to a specified weight (typically up to 50 lbs.).
- Physical ability to perform tasks like bending, standing, walking, and operating machinery for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for shipping, receiving, packaging, counting, and routing materials within the facility.
- Operating machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks, completing associated paperwork, and maintaining accurate records.
- Pick, inventory, and package materials as required; route materials to appropriate departments.
- Assist in preparing merchandise for shipment and ensure timely delivery to the appropriate destination.
- Follow all safety procedures while handling materials and operating machinery.
