Through real-time video, audio, location, and emergency sharing, we empower users to stay safe and connected in moments that matter—especially during rideshares, commutes, campus travel, and everyday transit. We're rapidly expanding through both direct-to-consumer channels and strategic enterprise partnerships across transportation, university, and senior markets.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development, Partnerships, and Sales Lead to accelerate our growth by forging partnerships and selling 3rd-i’s safety and streaming solutions into key verticals:
- Universities & Campus Safety Departments
- Transportation Companies (rideshare, metro, busing)
- Senior-focused Companies & Services
- Apps with transportation/logistics features
- Companies where employees travel a lot
- Insurance partner programs
- Companies where employees may be alone at night
This role requires a strategic thinker and strong closer who’s sold into at least one (ideally multiple) of these sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and close enterprise sales into universities, senior care orgs, transportation companies, and mobile apps in the safety or mobility space, and more...
- Build and manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities—from cold outreach to signed contracts.
- Design and deliver tailored pitches and proposals aligned with client needs (Integration, bulk licensing, etc.)
- Work with the CEO on contract terms, pricing models, and integration strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to align business goals with product capabilities.
- Represent 3rd-i at industry events, conferences, and accelerator showcases.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience selling into one or more of the following:
- Universities or Campus Safety
- Transportation / Rideshare / NEMT companies
- Greek Life
- Senior-focused companies, assisted living, or caregiver platforms
- Apps with transportation, safety, or mobility components
- Insurance companies
- Strong record of B2B or enterprise deal closures in early-stage or high-growth environments.
- Experience negotiating deals with department heads, procurement teams, or enterprise buyers.
- Excellent communication, pitching, and proposal-writing skills.
- Comfortable operating independently and reporting directly to the CEO/founder.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with SaaS sales, white-label software licensing, or recurring revenue models.
- Familiarity with public sector sales (campus safety, government-funded transportation).
- Connections or network within target industries.
- Startup sales team experience.
