At 3rd Stone Design Inc., we are seeking a skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team. As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering innovative product designs that meet technical, aesthetic, and performance requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with offshore suppliers across cultures, oceans, and time zones. You will be proficient in SolidWorks CAD and have excellent skills in mechanical conceptualization, analysis, and visualization.
In this role, you will work closely with the CEO and product development team members to consistently deliver outstanding product design work. You will also lead the technical engineering effort on given projects, conduct engineering reviews, and proactively manage the engineering resources and needs of a project.
To succeed in this position, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, such as Mechanical Engineering or Product Design. You should also have 3-8 years of experience in a design engineering role, with experience as a lead engineer. Additionally, you will need to be able to perform stress/strain analysis and tolerance analysis.
