Medical Record Project Coordinator

4 Corner Resources is looking for a Fully Remote Medical Record Retrieval Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a healthcare environment, particularly with managing documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining and submitting member medical records from various healthcare providers, with most of the work involving phone-based retrieval.

Medical Records Retrieval Specialist Pay Rate:
Up to $22 hourly

Medical Records Retrieval Specialist Schedule:
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Medical Records Retrieval Specialist Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and work alongside the Coding Team to audit and request member's medical records.
• Coordinate with providers to gather service dates and doctor’s notes.
• Upload the medical records into the software platform to ensure submissions to the Content Management System.
• Support audit assignments by preparing and organizing documentation and other materials.
• Ensure timely execution of audit projects and compliance initiatives.
• Perform additional administrative and project coordination duties as assigned.

Medical Records Retrieval Specialist Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with regulatory or compliance activities.
• Certifications are preferred not required (RHIT, RHIA, CMA)
