Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a mechanically inclined laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within a fast-paced fabrication and machine shop environment. This position is ideal for a hands-on individual with a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities Include:

• Operating saws to cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Grinding, polishing, and finishing custom steel projects.
• Performing tack welding on miscellaneous custom projects.
• Assisting in the assembly and fabrication of steel components.
• Follow safety protocols while handling materials to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain productivity levels.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical processes and tools.
• Experience with sawing, grinding, and welding is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong commitment to maintaining safety standards in all tasks performed.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and communication.
• Dependable, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Physical ability to lift and handle materials as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
