Experience:
Assembly processes and quality control. Contributing to streamlining a process and improving efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing productivity.
Qualifications/Skills:
Good mechanical aptitude and competency using different tooling, and testing equipment.
Role Objective
The safe and accurate assembly of customer devices according to documented processes and quality standards.
Key Duties
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Understanding the assembly process and requirements.
- Gathering all necessary parts and tools needed for the assembly process.
- Assembling parts or components according to specification and following procedures and guidelines.
- Using hand tools and power tools and the ability to fasten or connect parts together.
- Inspecting parts for defects and quality issues during the assembly process.
- Testing assembled parts to ensure that is meeting quality standards.
- Make adjustments or repairs to product if needed.
- Maintaining accurate records of production assembly activities including the time taken to produce parts and meet production goals.
- Removing and disposing of packaging
