Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. This position involves a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting, remodeling, and renovation, and will be comfortable working with hand tools and various materials. A strong attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Responsible for running projects start to finish
- Follow 48 Hour Paintings process utilizing apps and ensuring accurate data entry
- Apply paint, stains, or finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling and renovation projects to ensure quality workmanship.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites to promote safety and efficiency.
- Participate in painting estimating processes when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial painting or similar roles is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools and other equipment commonly used on construction sites.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor consistently throughout the day.
