- Provide regular communication with skills trainers such as approving timecards and mileage of designated staff; co-signing notes of designated staff, oversight of curricula implemented, monitoring coverage plan and ensuring services are covered in the event of staff absence, monitor documentation to ensure medically necessary services are provided, monitor timely documentation and collaborative service goals.
- Complete client assessments that include intake, evaluating a client’s ability to meet the admission criteria for that particular department, identify presenting problem(s), history, medical information, family involvement, psychosocial/psychosexual information, and other pertinent information to form an appropriate clinical impression including substance use/abuse and abuse/neglect.
- Provide relevant information for updating treatment plans. A treatment plan should accurately reflect the client’s needs and ability to meet discharge criteria with goals and objectives that are time limited and behaviorally stated.
- Document timely, accurately and in accordance with Center policies utilizing current systems and practices.
- Document accurate information, which reflects client progress based on the appropriate therapeutic modality. Therapeutic services will be time limited and specific to the presenting problem(s) of each assigned consumer.
- Demonstrate an understanding of client/Center needs according to programs available under the continuum of care.
- Demonstrate competency in 1:1 skill building, case management, and group facilitation services with clients in accordance with their treatment plan.
- Maintain contact with primary clinical referral sources to determine needs and use of clinical programs. This information will be disseminated to the appropriate managers/directors to facilitate improved clinical care and community involvement.
- Plan, develop, establish, and review community and school-based programs to ensure that appropriate services are being provided and there is quality communication interdepartmentally.
- Supervise and coordinate the community and school-based programs including staff and budget with activities such as hiring, evaluation and terminating of staff, preparation of annual budget, and provision of clinical support, when necessary.
- Take proactive measures to ensure efficient and quality clinical services such as review, education, and provide additional training to ensure the highest of quality for relevant community and school-based programs.
- Maintain communication and support with referral sources.
- Monitor the use of external customer contracts and ensure services are provided as agreed upon in the service contract.
- Monitor and report on relevant community and school-based data sets.
- Coordinate education and in-service training for all associates under the Assistant Director of Community and School Based Services supervision related to accreditation requirements and performance improvement issues.
- Oversee and resolve quality issues relating to clients and staff of assigned departments.
- Supervise direct reports for clinic metrics including care plan compliance, encounters, screening tools, outcome measures, demographic updates, medical history BPHC units, active caseload oversight, and other metrics in assigned clinics/program.

- Make up to an additional $625 per week by participating in Mobile Crisis On-Call opportunities in eligible counties

Requirements
Education:
- A Bachelors degree preferred.
- A degree in social services, psychology, or related mental health field preferred.
- Must have at least 2 years of full-time employment experience providing direct casework services to children & families that includes providing services to families that need assistance in the protection and care of their children.
- An Associate Degree, High School Diploma or equivalency required.
- Must have at least 6 years of full-time employment providing direct casework services to children & families, that includes providing services to families that need assistance in the protection and care of their children.
- Previous experience with case management, skill building, and group therapy or in a group home setting preferred.
- Experience working with children and adults who demonstrate emotional and psychiatric disturbance and behavioral needs preferred.
- Leadership experience preferred.
