Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Provide supervision to all associates in the IS department; including hiring, evaluation, discipline and termination as relevant.
- Demonstrate knowledge and ability to perform all duties supporting network systems, software, database, IT helpdesk and inventory management.
- Maintain FTE tracking, weekly operations reporting, financial variance reporting working toward meeting and exceeding departmental/program KPI’s.
- Maintain current knowledge/vision of IS advances. Develop and implement three- and five-year plans to keep systems “up to date” within budgetary limits.
- Administration of IS vendor management, ensuring timely completion of projects within agreed upon scopes, review of contracts and negotiations in consultation and approval with the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Financial Officer and following risk assessment policies for assigned area of responsibility.
- Responsible for data/user/network security ensuring all systems are current in their preventative measures and responds to all security breach concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensure maximum uptime and stability in the Center’s computer systems and networks.
- Oversee 24x7 technical and infrastructure support for the Center.
- Prepare the departmental budget and participate in the capital budget process annually.
- Advise management of the availability of hardware and software system(s) applications enhancements.
- Ensure efficient operation of assigned electronic devices (laptops and cell phones), electronic medical records database, through maintenance of the hardware infrastructure and software programming.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Joint Commission standards for policies and procedures to cover and protect the IS department information.
- Demonstrate knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards for the Center and ensure they are applied appropriately within the IS department.
- Coordinate efforts with other members of the IS department to ensure all functions provide appropriate accessibility of services.
- Oversee that all functions of the IS department provide the ability to work for the staff, not the staff working for the systems.
- Maintain and improve existing standards and procedures for equipment deployment, operations, data security, troubleshooting, emergency preparedness, and disaster recovery.

Requirements
Education:
- A degree or further education/certifications in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or other applicable area of study preferred but not required.
- Training in computer system operations and programming required.
- Five (5) years IT experience required.
- Three (3) years of experience managing an IT department and/or staff.
- Experience with Microsoft systems and network administration.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
