Senior Data Analyst - Revenue Cycle

Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior data analyst to guide our Revenue Cycle Data Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our revenue cycle management through data-driven insights, process improvements, and innovative solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of revenue cycle operations, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the collection, cleaning, and analysis of complex healthcare revenue cycle data
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track 
key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. 

• Lead initiatives to optimize revenue cycle processes, reduce denials, accelerate cash 
flow, and improve overall efficiency. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, technology, client success, Sale and 
Management to improve processes and optimize revenue cycle performance. 

• Manage data analysis projects, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and 
 

• Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and data analysis 
trends in healthcare revenue cycle management. 

• Identify and evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities 
and drive innovation. 

• Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of 
the organization. 

• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and foster a data-driven culture. 

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, providing guidance, support, and 
performance feedback. 

• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members have the necessary resources and training. 


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 

• 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a data analysis or similar role.

• Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, claims processing, payment posting, and denial management. 

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. 

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to commute to and work daily on site.
