POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for overseeing clinical services for all counties. This includes coordinating programs, both internally and externally, so services are provided based on a continuum of care that addresses client needs and maintains effective communications with referral sources and other service providers. This position must participate in clinical consultation/supervision with staff and collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop, implement, and administer clinical programs and services within the Center. This position is responsible for all quality clinical informatics initiatives across assigned areas and all departments as directed by the Chief Clinical Officer and completed in collaboration with department heads/managers of individual departments. This position operates under minimal supervision but must be willing to solicit professional assistance in the area of responsibility from outside sources, as necessary. A person in this position must exercise tact, judgment, and confidentiality in contact with the public, clients, and families, as well as fellow associates of the Center. Work is very broad in scope, requiring the application of complex and technical practices and procedures and a high level of professionalism.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise Center clinicians in their documentation to include timeliness of documentation and to ensure the demonstration of medical necessity and adequate documentation to support the services a client is receiving adequately reflecting how the levels of services being provided are benefiting the client if such documentation is needed by a referral source.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of client/Center needs according to programs available under the continuum of care.
  • Plan, develop, establish, and review all clinical programs to ensure that appropriate services are being provided and there is quality communication interdepartmentally.
  • Supervise and coordinate the clinical programs including staff and budget with activities such as hiring, evaluation and terminating of staff, preparation of annual budget, and provision of clinical support, when necessary.
  • Establish work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space, and equipment availability.
  • Take proactive measures to ensure efficient and quality clinical services such as review, education, and provide additional training to ensure the highest quality for all clinical staff.
  • Coordinating education and in-service training for all associates under the Director of Clinical Services supervision related to accreditation requirements and performance improvement issues.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapeutic services that are time limited and specific to the assessed needs of the client.
  • Facilitate the development of additional clinical programs according to community need and cost effectiveness of these programs.
  • Oversee and expand the use of tele-health treatment throughout the Center.
  • Seek out and pursue grant funding opportunities to expand existing programs and implement new programs.
  • Maintain operational oversight of clinician practices and clinic schedules with best practices in scheduling and practice management.
  • Maintain contact with primary clinical referral sources to determine needs and use of clinical programs. This information will be disseminated to the appropriate managers/directors to facilitate improved clinical care and community involvement.
  • Develop and maintain heightened awareness of fiscal responsibility pertaining to assigned programming.
  • Address reasons for variance in fiscal budgets and be held accountable for the finances in said programs.
  • Monitor and report on all clinical data sets, noting significant changes in activities.
  • Oversee a variety of metrics including matching billing standards to codes, clinical productivity, revenue per employee, no-show rates, financial write-offs, recruitment and workforce development, turnover, and quality indicators.
  • Must be able to supervise and/or work collaboratively with a clinical team to continually improve fiscal, operational, and clinical excellence.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of advances in treatment, computerized diagnostic and treatment equipment, government regulations and health insurance changes.

Additional Compensation and incentives:

  • Eligible for $150/month ($1,800 annually) in student loan repayment
  • Earn $750 for every person you refer who is hired and remains employed for 6 months and receive an additional $500 every year as long as you both remain employed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Background Checks:

  • 4C Health is a Drug-Free Workplace employer. Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Candidates must be willing to submit to comprehensive background checks, including but not limited to criminal and child protective services checks.

Education:

  • Masters degree required.
  • Doctorate in a clinical discipline preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of clinical and/or managerial experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
