SUMMARY: The G4M Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the G4M department, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality printed materials for large-scale projects. This role combines technical expertise in grand format printing with strong leadership skills, guiding a team of print operators and ensuring the optimal performance of equipment, materials, and workflows ensuring the highest of quality production that meets required quality and cost standards.
Schedule: 2nd shift, eight or more hours per day, five or more days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 12:45 PM – 9:15 PM, Monday-Friday, or similar. This is an on-site position requiring the employee to be present physically. Training may occur on other shifts.
Salary Range: $22.00 To 24.00 Hourly
Compensation commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Provide instructions, work assignments and directly supervise all Grand4Mat staff to ensure all required tasks/jobs are completed; advise of any pertinent deadlines. Update status to ERP System.
Support and assist Plant Management with planning and production schedule.
Provide support and assistance to Grand4Mat staff to ensure team is working on proper and on relevant priorities.
Motivate, align/re-align team members to new or different work stations to keep productivity at a safe and consistent level.
Perform quality sample checks.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of print operators in the execution of large format print jobs, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with print equipment, materials, and production processes, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow.
Operate and maintain grand format printing equipment, ensuring proper calibration, setup, and maintenance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Assist Plant Management in promoting a dynamic safety culture and observe team members working safely.
Train and mentor junior colleagues.
Ensure completion of assignments/tasks by multi-tasking.
Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s).
Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Attend all department/company meetings as requested.

Qualifications
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Two (2) to five (5) years proven experience in large format printing, with a strong understanding of print processes, equipment, and materials.
Frequent lifting or moving product weighing up to 50 pounds at, below or above shoulder level.
Preferred
High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
Two (2) to five (5) years previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a print environment.
