What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Associate / Cashier position at 4PointsFL?
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Follow established regulatory standards for operating cash register.
- Always be in proper uniform and wear a name tag.
- Greet customers with “welcome to 4 points!” as they enter the store premises and a “visit us again “as they step out.
- Always upsell (i.e., the customer buys coffee. Ask if they want a pastry with that).
- Keep a clean and safe environment for guests.
- Receive payments for products sold, whether in cash, credit cards, debit, and other forms of payment.
- Issue receipts to customers for products and make necessary refunds or credit.
- Tend to our guests by making product benefits and information available to them.
- Assist customers in moving out their purchases at the completion of the transaction.
- Resolve customers' complaints in a calm and helpful manner.
- Maintain proper interpersonal relationships with the customers and other associates.
- Keep the overall appearance of the store looking clean and orderly. This may include cleaning the bathrooms, fronting all merchandise on shelves, general cleaning of the store, dusting merchandise, wiping down self-serve area, pumps and counters, and cleaning dumpsters and vacuum/air areas.
- Receive gas deliveries by the following protocol.
- Receive all deliveries according to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Work in flexible areas and be able to cover for others.
- Properly greet phone calls.
- Monitor theft/shoplift.
- Maintain adequate food and beverages in display cases and refrigerators for customer's convenience and increase sales.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
