The DoubleTree by Hilton Williamsburg is seeking a Beverage Manager for our evening shift at Pitchers Taphouse and overseeing all banquet event bars.

Work Duties:
- Ensure the restaurant bar and banquet bars open on time and that they are ready for business.
- Ensure excellent front of house service, allocating and supporting staff to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of venue.
- Ensure staff meet standards, addressing and correcting bad practices when needed.
- Maintain back of house and front of the house to a high standard.
- Work with restaurant and kitchen teams to resolve problems and ensure great service.
- Complete daily paperwork to ensure the safe running of the outlets and banquet bars and for those standards to be monitored and maintained throughout the shift.
- Pre-empt and actively respond to problems.
- Ensure all venues close on time, end of day jobs is completed to a high standard, staff are signed off promptly, all back and front of house areas are checked and secured, and that each outlet is in excellent order for the next day.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and notify management of any issues.
- Provide feedback on your shift to managers and supervisors.
- Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed correctly.
- Provide detailed check of deliveries for accuracy and quality of product and ensure stock is received and secured.
- Assist in the hiring, training and coaching of staff.
- Brief staff at the beginning of shifts and debrief at the end.

The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience, a flair for food & beverage and a friendly and positive attitude. Specifically:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 2 years of experience in food service or customer service.
- Commitment to meeting the high standards of Hilton and Shamin Hotels.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and fluency in English.
- Familiarity with POS and cash handling procedures.
- Good problem solving abilities and the capability to effectively communicate with guests
- Ability to motivate and lead team members and work with associates.
- Flexibility to work various schedules as business demands including nights, weekends and holidays.
