Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Thornton, CO
Shift: 2nd (3pm-1:30am)
Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, filling, capping, and palletizing products, as well as performing machine set-up, tear-down, and cleaning. Success in this role will be achieved through developing proficiency in these tasks, which will offer opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery for filling, capping, and palletizing products.
- Set up and tear down equipment, clean machinery, and reset for the next product run.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Support production goals by working efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Needs to pass Drug/Background
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
- Basic computer skills.
- Fundamental English and math skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.
Physical Demands: The physical requirements of this position include standing for 6 to 8 hours per day, using hands and arms with precision, and frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. The role also requires regular walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
