Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for innovation in the medical device industry ? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in North Haven, CT. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in optimizing assembly line processes, improving product performance, and driving manufacturing excellence .
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with Quality Engineering to provide manufacturing support.
Conduct Time Studies for various assembly lines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to safety, efficacy, quality, cost, and delivery .
Perform qualification, verification, and validation activities for medical device production.
Support new product development by contributing to technology development, process studies, and six sigma improvements .
Design, procure, and fabricate tooling and fixtures for manufacturing.
Optimize manufacturing processes to ensure high efficiency and quality.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance yield, throughput, and performance.
Train, develop, and provide guidance to operators and technicians .
Participate in design control, risk analysis (FMEA), and design reviews .
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
BS / MS in Engineering (Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device packaging / manufacturing or a related industry.
Strong expertise in mechanical and manufacturing engineering principles.
Experience working in a regulated industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, etc.) is a plus.
