Summary:
The 21st Pilot is responsible for managing all aircraft maintenance, cleaning, scheduling, accounting, training and FAA Part 91 regulatory compliance. The Pilot is also responsible for conducting safe flight operations, including but not limited to:
- Serve as Pilot in Command of Pilatus PC-12, and as Flight Instructor for aircraft Owner/Pilot
- Passenger comfort/experience and luggage handling
- Flight and weather planning
- Lodging and ground transportation scheduling
- Pre- and post- flight aircraft inspection
- Aircraft preventative maintenance
Various additional non-flying duties, roles and special projects unrelated to aviation may also be assigned to the Pilot.
Requirements:
- Flight Experience:
- Total of 2500 Flight Hours:
- -1000 hours PIC
- -500 hours Turbine (PIC OR SIC)
- -250 hours Multi-Engine (PIC OR SIC)
- -250 hours as Flight Instructor
- -150 hours Night
- -150 hours Actual Instrument (This is a single-pilot IFR environment)
- Travel: Most flights are overnight 2-4 day assignments. The company prefers to avoid dead head flights. On business assignments the Pilot is expected to stay on location until the return flight.
- Certifications:
- Commercial Pilot Certificate, Instrument Airplane
- Flight Instructor Single-Engine / Instrument Airplane (current)
- Second Class Medical
- Valid US Passport
- Other duties:
- Flying and aircraft management is less than full time duty with approximately 100 hours flying annually
- Willingness to dedicate a significant proportion of non-flying time to learn and perform non-aviation related duties, roles and special projects for the company.
