Bethesda Care Center is seeking to hire a strong & outgoing Marketing / Admissions Coordinator.
The Marketing / Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating patient admissions via marketing and hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physicians, and other community resources. Develop relationships with hospitals and physicians.
Some of the specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Marketing at the hospitals on a daily basis
- Creating working relationships with social workers/case managers at the hospital
- Serve as a liaison with health care professionals (i.e. physicians, discharge planners, social workers, health care coordinators, etc.) and agency employees to coordinate safe transitions from medical facilities to the nursing home setting.
- Marketing/social media/ print material
- Brand Development
- Promote specialty Dialysis unit
Position Requirements:
- Experience as a Marketer in Healthcare (Nursing Facility, Home Care, Hospitals, LTAC, Rehab Hospital).
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations, demonstration, organization structure, social and activity services, government relations, etc., as they relate to nursing facility operations.
- Must possess the ability to plan, organize and effectively present ideals and concepts to community groups/agencies.
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Clinical experience would be beneficial.
