Physician - Contract Role
We are currently seeking a locum tenen Physician to join the medical team. This full-time opportunity is available immediately, starting this month. The assignment is projected to last for approximately 180 days, with potential for extension or transition to a permanent, full-time position beyond the initial term.
Position Overview :
The selected physician will provide comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to patients with a range of physical and mental disabilities, including those admitted to Hiram W. Davis Medical Center. This role demands a compassionate approach to patient care, as well as proficiency in managing complex medical cases.
Key Requirements :
- Active licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Proven experience in clinical treatment, with a strong understanding of administering and overseeing medical affairs
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
